2 tbsp unsalted butter at room temperature
2 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp light brown sugar
2 tbsp beaten egg
½ tsp vanilla
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup + 1 tbsp chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350F or 180C and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Take a medium bowl and cream the butter and sugars with a fork. Then add the egg and vanilla.
In a separate bowl sift the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix. Fold in ¼ cup of the chocolate chips.
Divide the dough into 4 parts and mold into 4 balls using a spoon. Dot the cookies with the remaining 1 tbsp of chocolate chips.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Cool in the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to an air tight container.
